you will have a fully personalised 3 hour tour. I want you to think of me as a family friend showing you around London.

I will meet you at your accommodation in central London and we will head out to see the iconic sites that London is famous for.

But this being a personal and bespoke tour you can also let me know what your interests are and we can include those in our itinery.

About The Tour

Join me on a tour of central London. It's main essential sites and fascinating history.

This tour is ideal for those who have a limited time in London, or who want to orientate themselves and get a great introduction to the two cities of London. Yes, that's right London is actually two cities. The City of London and The City of Westminster.

We will visit the iconic landmarks that are recognised throughout the world, and I will be on hand to help with the photo taking!

Whitehall & 10 Downing Street

Westminster Abbey

Big Ben, Houses of Parliament 

Covent Garden

We will discuss the history of each location with a few amusing stories and anecdotes on the way. And I will also point out a few of the hidden gems that most people miss. The aim of the tour is to give you all the essential sights in a fun, relaxed and enjoyable morning or afternoon stroll.

Part two of the tour heads deep into the most historic quarter of London known as The Square Mile. Taking the side streets and alleys you will discover houses that survived the Great Fire of London, a Church that has a Roman mosaic and pavement in the Crypt,  and what could be more British than tea!, you will have the chance to pop in to London's oldest Tea Shop.

 

After seeing all these great sites you will no doubt need a little refreshment, and we will end our tour in a pub oozing history and character. Don't be surprised if we have to share the bar with some Ghosts! For those who would prefer not to finish in a Pub we will end the tour in a location of interest to you. 

 

This tour is perfect for people with limited time in London or those who want to get a nice overview of this great city and see a bit of everything. The tour is at your pace and I never want my guests to feel they are marched from one place to the next on a tight schedule. This tour can be completed entirely on foot. (Depending on your Hotel Location) But having an Oyster Card for the tube or day travel card is recommended as we can cover more sites, and give your legs a rest between points of interest.

Our tour will then finish in an atmospheric & historic traditional London pub where you can enjoy lunch if you wish.

For those who would prefer not to finish in a Pub we will end the tour in a location of interest to you.

We can take the tour at your pace and I never want my guests to feel they are marched from one place to the next on a tight schedule. 

​

For those with mobility problems I am more than happy to assist with Wheelchairs, or adapt the tour to suit your personal needs.
